Mother's Day being in the spring. The weather's warming up. It's always been for me a nice time to sort of take a pause and take stock and write my mom a nice card and maybe give her some flowers and just be together and have a moment.

Like, I wanted to have the Mother's Day brunch and I wanted it to be sort of like really special. And I feel like I, after trying to go to Mother's Day brunch a few times in a row when my kids were really little, I realized what a horrible experience that is.
