So we went to Sarasota, Florida, Atlanta, New Orleans, Arlington, Texas, Los Angeles, San Jose.

That's Paul Brewbaker.

The CEO of the Alliance for Transportation Innovation, or we're also known as ati21.org.

Paul is a champion for self-driving cars and his organization tries to smooth the

bumpy road of innovation.

Public acceptance is is one of the main obstacles for achieving, you know, deployment of these technologies.

Why don't we take a bus, one of these self-driving vehicles around the country and show people what it's like?

Let them experience it firsthand. Let them kick the tires. Let them ride in it and we'll see how it goes.

Everywhere they went, Paul says they got generally good reactions from city officials and

curious locals.

But occasionally, he'd run into an issue.

Here's one example.

It was kind of an unfortunate situation, but I think it speaks to the challenge here.

A.T. I was in Arlington, Texas for a demonstration

when Paul got a phone call from a TV station.

The station in Orlando asked if they could do a live feed, their morning show,

of the event that was going on in Arlington and then interview some people.

So he gets on camera and goes into his pitch.
