own inner light whether that's our love for other people or our kindness to other people.

And just like taking a candle into a dark room,

our little bit of light can make a giant difference.

So I've picked a story called A Little Bit of Light and it is a Martin and

Sylvia story you know those are my favorite in which Martin and Sylvia come to

experience the difference their little lantern can make in the world.

Enjoy. The Martin and Sylvia live in a tall house with lots of windows.

From their second story loft bedroom, they can see their entire backyard, with the tall maple and oak trees on one side, and the horse fence that borders the Brown's farm on the other.

Brother and sister often have the same rhythm to their days at home.

They wake when the sun rises and then dress and have breakfast at the

kitchen counter. Then they have morning lesson and snack followed by outside time, lunch and rest time.

The afternoons are either filled with more playtime or are used for trips into town. Dinner is at home, followed by family time, story time, and then bedtime.

Every day is filled with activity and discovery and some days have an extra layer of

magic. These days are often holidays or festivals that they celebrate at home or in their downtown.
