This week we're going to discuss making the perfect playlist, different types of rosé,

and the danger of comparison.

You're on a patio.

It's 97 degrees outside and you wonder why they're hell you're there.

A fan blows missed onto you as you tend to stay cool.

The ceviche has been ordered and your sunglasses cover your tired, hungover bloodshot eyes.

The only thing missing is a bottle of rosé.

As you know by now rosé has truly solidified itself as the wine of summer.

I never really drank rosé until about five years ago and now the second the temperature

gets above 90 degrees is pretty much just my go to.

There's always been kind of a rule in the back of my mind.

White wine is for summer, red wine is for winter.

Whether or not that's fair, I'm not really sure.

Whether or not I'm the only person that thinks that, again, I'm not very sure.

But when rosé started entering the equation it made things a lot easier.

Typically during the summer I would only drink my white wine on ice, which I know is not

exactly the most savory way to do that for wine snobs.

As for me it just made sense.

But having a nice glass of rosé whether it's still or sparkling just does wonders on a hot

summer day and the days that we're about to be facing every single day, especially in

Texas for the next few months.
