disappeared in a case that saw many demanding change in Australia's parole laws. So if you like

Jillian McKin was born on October 30th, 1982, in Joghita, Ireland, before relocating with her

family to Australia when her father received a job in Perth.

While there, Gillian attended primary school and high school before returning to her native

Ireland in 1996 to attend grammar school and high school before returning to her native Ireland in 1996

to attend grammar school and later college.

earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University College Dublin,

she began working for the national broadcaster, RTE.

In 2008, Gillian married a man named Tom Meager.

And that following year, the couple relocated to Melbourne, where she began working for the Australian Broadcast Corporation as an administrator,

and occasionally appeared on air for a local radio station.

Despite her very busy life and job,

Jillian was really good at keeping in touch with her parents,

who by 2012 were back living in Western Australia.
