During the pandemic, I was doing gratitude lists all the time.

I don't know if I've gotten specific about this before, but I would call my friend,

and he and I would do 25 things each verbally that we were grateful for. I mean, I had to. I think I was afraid of losing my

mind or spiraling into some fear-soaked depression in the pandemic. So I was really, really

motivated to focus on gratitude, and it had a huge effect on me.

Lately, however, I've been lazier about it, so I'm very grateful to be doing gratitude tonight.

I know how powerful it is.

It may be simple, but by feeling gratitude, we consciously hijack our neural

pathways, not just in the brain, but in the heart and in the gut, and we forge new positive

connections. To me, it's one of the most powerful things I've ever learned to do.

And not only does it give me a more positive attitude,

I start to generate a whole different energy in the world,

and others respond to it.

Feeling gratitude on a regular basis can move mountains.
