If you have a Bible and I hope you do, the beauty of the gospel, the God has saved us.

He's freed us from the power and the penalty of sin.

He's put us in Christ who's now our life.

So we gotta get to surrender our lives.

Our lives are yours and we're your servants.

It's not radical version of Christianity.

This is biblical Christianity. This is what it means to be a follower of Christ.

We don't call the shots. He calls the shots.

James Chapter 4, as we come the beginning of a new year, we have a unique opportunity to look back at the last

year to see evidences of God's grace in our lives, our families, our churches, maybe most importantly to see his

grace and difficult experiences we may have walked through.

And then we have an opportunity to look forward to the next year, trusting in God's grace that will sustain us and strengthen

us and we trust satisfy us and whatever experiences we're going to walk through.

And that's where it's really really humbling to begin a new year and

realize that you and I have no idea what the next year holds. I certainly could
