Okay, I feel like this needs to stop.

All kinds of companies that set up at airports and break bakeries, coffee shops, sports

stadiums have now introduced the self-serve tipping option, where customers can leave tips,

and they typically leave 20% but they have, you can also adjust it to whatever you want.

And I talked a little bit about this when I did my story about going to Sonic and how

they screwed up the order and how Sonic asks for the tip prior to you getting your goods

and service.

So I mean, I feel like, okay, so if you have the tip option on there, my theory was that

you need to give a tip so that you get the correct order and they feel like no matter

what it is, at least it shows up that they got a tip.

So they are going to work better on your order.

But if I'm ordering something that I haven't received yet, why should I leave a tip?

I just don't understand.

And I know that customers are reporting that they feel obligated to leave a tip.

And yeah, they should because I feel like they like me feel like if I don't leave a

tip, you know, somebody's going to spit in my coffee or not give me the freshest cinnamon

roll, give me the one that's up front, the day old cinnamon roll, you didn't leave

a tip, this is the one you get.

So I also like the idea, if they're going to do this, that they put on the screen, where

the tip money goes.

We're just assume that that tip money is going to either our server or it goes into a pile
