Sometimes the preposition the New Testament uses is the preposition into, we believe, into Christ.

And this is the fundamental thing that happens to us when we're born again, when we're converted to Christ,

And I think one of the reasons why we struggle so much with the concept of justice and of God's wrath, for example, is because we don't spend a lot of time anymore at scenes in reading and studying the Old Testament.

We act as if Christianity was based merely on the New Testament, as if the New Testament could stand alone independent from its roots, which is a serious misapprehension there.

If we were to understand the New Testament, we first have to have some knowledge of the Old Testament because all of the drama that takes place in the Ministry of Christ, for example, is so intimately tied to and related to what has happened in past history that is recorded for us on the pages of the Old Testament.
