a lot out of this time? We've all been there, and that's one of the things that devotional

aids, like liturgies, are designed to help us with.

Today I'm speaking with Doug O'Donnell about his new book, The Daily Liturgy Devotional,

a 40-day resource from Crossway designed to help you add some structure, intentionality, and theological depth to your daily time with God.

In our conversation, Doug shares why he really wrote this book for himself first and foremost,

what each devotion includes and why and how it's impacted his devotional life over the past few months.

So in my experience, and I would imagine this is true for you as well as a pastor,

many of us Christians are constantly on the lookout for resources

that will help us to be more consistent in our Bible reading, our Bible study, and our prayer

life. Those are probably two areas that many of us as Christians, we know it's so important for us,

but we also can feel this low-grade guilt all the time because we're
