Who are your heroes when it comes to faith in Jesus?

Who are the people you look up to, the ones you model your life after?

Because you want to grow up to be like them.

That question is a powerful one that we need to be asking ourselves in order to win the mind war.

Welcome to the morning mindset. This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of

God's word for this day. We're going to be doing that by looking at the book of Philippians

chapter 3, verses 17 through 19. So take out your Bibles. You know, one of those areas we need to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word

is in the way we parent, for those of you who have kids.

Doing it God's way is the best way all the way around.

Okay, friends, before we dig into Philippians Chapter 3, it's time for us to pray, because we need

God's help in understanding

how to apply his word. Our Father, it is our pleasure to read your word, but we need your help. We don't

always understand it. We don't always see how to apply it rightly. So help us through your Holy Spirit

to understand and to apply rightly in Jesus' name. Amen.

Okay, friends, look at Philippians chapter 3, verses 17 to 19. Paul is writing to these believers,

and here's what he says to them. Brothers, join in imitating me. And keep your eyes on those who

walk according to the example you have in us.

So let's pause for a moment. Paul is saying, I am living in a way that you should imitate.
