He's he's a great example of something smarter people than me need to write papers about that

whole phenomenon. Why did he seem so appealing? But wasn't what's going on there? What's different

about running for president versus running for Senate? The difference in the media between running

against somebody everybody in the media hates Ted Cruz versus running against a bunch of people

that the media like. Yeah. Bernie Elizabeth. Yeah. And then the scrutiny you get when the media

all loves you because you're running an enemy friend of my enemy blob that whole thing. Sure.

You know, that's a lot of it. Yeah. Because he was getting he was getting boostered. Anything he did

was boostered when he was running against Ted Cruz. Yeah. It was childish and inappropriate of me to

retweet Alissa Milano's tweet from last year in which when Beto lost the Senate race, she said,

good, now he can run for president. Yeah. How'd that go? Anyway, he had nothing. No. He was this deep.

Yeah. If you had all that stuff, he had the skateboarding, air drumming stuff and some political

chops. You'd be pretty tough in the modern world. He had some decent enough rhetoric. He was good off

the cuff in responses that the media ladled up a lot of. Right. Right. Various, you know, cell phone

videos speech. Oh, look at him. He's a great first blush candidate. Very charming, very appealing.

Second interview didn't go so well. So anyway, be gone, Beto. And take Cory Booker with you.
