Summary

Today we head north of the border to Scotland.  This episode of the weekly UK True Crime Podcast examines a feud between two Glasgow families over a number of years which have left one man dead and several others injured - so far.  We look at the reasons for the escalation of tensions and review the difficulties faced by the Police in dealing with situations where members of a tight-knit community are unwilling to give evidence.

In April 2010 a 41 year old man was brutally stabbed to death in a park in the north of

Police officers believed that a number of people, both men and women, were involved in

the disturbance and appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Police said it was understandable that local residents were frightened and they increased

patrols in the area to alleviate fears.
