Hello I'm Bex and welcome to the Week Junior

today I'm joined by two of the team from the Week Junior

the magazine Making Sense of the World for 8 to 14 year olds.

We've got editor Vanessa and editorial assistant Elena

who is new to the show so very very happy to

have her here. Now in this episode we're going to be talking about the upcoming

Children's Mental Health Week, a mysterious ghost bus and some Ghanaian

treasure. We'll also be having a debate

about whether children should educate themselves. Now I've spotted on the how to

page of this week's issue a feature all about using colored paper to make a

Lunar New Year dragon just in time for the Lunar New Year on 10th of February.

Apparently, 2024 is the year of the dragon, which is quite exciting.

And people who are born in this year are said to be confident and lucky with good leadership qualities.

I love that. And it did make me wonder what lunar year we were all born in. I'm not 100% sure.

I think I'm a rabbit. Vanessa what are you? Well it turns out that not only is it the kind of year but also the specific year so there were kind of subdivisions within that.

So I found out that I'm an Earth rooster and this seems to mean that I'm quite aggressive and

easily fooled.

Oh wow really not big enough.

I think there was some good qualities as well but those are the words obviously I hung on to the really bad one so yes

obnoxious picky aggressive yeah I love it it's me it's me it's you and you know what own yourself that's

who you are fair enough.

Elena what are you? Well I'm actually a dragon so apparently this is my year. I think I'm a metal dragon
