This is hell for decades, dating back well into the previous century. You might remember the 1900s. Activists and academics as well as journalists like today's

guests have been warning the world that what seemed to be the inevitable would indeed happen

unless something was done to stop a nation's and people's seemingly unavoidable collapse

into an endless spiral of violence devolving into crimes against humanity that we can only

barely imagine in the worst of our nightmares,

while in reality most of the victims, as always, being the most vulnerable, including

women and children, we were warned repeatedly, and by all indications nothing was done to stop

what we all knew could and likely would happen.

That is, nothing was done but performative gestures toward peace and provocations that

greatly increased the chances of what was slowly and agonizingly becoming the unimaginable

and turning into the inescapable.

A belief that our guest today argues is grounded in racism, the logic of which is then used as a rationalization to punish the innocent for the most heinous of crimes which again they did not commit, forcing them off their land and into ramshackle housing in refugee camps,
