Hi, everyone. The last few weeks have been, let's face it, so, so heavy.

Heavy here in the United States, heavy across the Middle East, heavy in ways that don't always

make headlines, but still break hearts quietly and deeply.

For me personally, I've needed to write this down and to read from my notes today, because

I am in such a place right now where I do feel very fragile. I feel very tender to

what's happening. And I really hope and pray that I can get through. I can get through reading

this without crying. But honestly, if I do, guess what? I got a box of tissues right here.

And I'm just going to let the Holy Spirit do whatever the

Holy Spirit is going to do today.

So for me, personally, there's just been a lot of grieving in our home this week, just

watching, you know, the suffering unfold overseas for my Kurdish people.

Some of you are thinking, wait, what's happening?

That right there is part of the grief.

Not enough people are talking about what's happening to the Kurds, and I get it.

Every other day there seems to be battles and wars just unfolding right before our eyes

and all around us.

So much pain and so many places all happening at once.
