Hi everyone, it's me, Chelsea Fagan, your girl, founder and CEO of the Financial Diet,

and woman who loves to talk about money.

And something that you might not know about me, well, two things you might not know about me.

One is that every so often, not, I would say not more than like twice a year, I work with private clients

who are looking to launch a brand or

redo a brand in the digital media space, usually YouTube. I work with them on like an ongoing

basis. We'll do like a meeting every week or two weeks over a certain period of time and we'll

work on things like branding, content strategy, and just kind of all the tips and tricks that I've

learned over my 12-year career in digital media, which given how relatively not that much

time digital media has even existed as an industry, sort of makes me a bit of a professor

emeritus. And one of the clients that I worked with this year is my guest today, who is a former teacher,

former grade school teacher who left the profession

and decided to start creating content specifically

geared toward parents of elementary school-aged children

for how they can work better with their child's teachers.

Because one of the primary reasons that she sort of was fatigued with teaching was that

disconnect between the teachers who are instructing the children and the parents who are

oftentimes not super well equipped to interact with those teachers.

But the other thing you might not know about me is that my mother is actually a career

a public school teacher.

But she, for as long as I can remember, coming home from work, would have a lot of the same

complaints that Natalie spoke of and speaks of in her videos.
