So I get on these kicks, you probably noticed if you have listened for years,

I get on these kicks and then I like read and watch a ton of stuff about a particular subject

for days, weeks, or months, sometimes depending on how intense the kick is

and then I move on to something else, but that's just the way my brain is built

and the way I find life amusing. Like I went through a French Revolution kick

or a World War I kick or whatever I get into for a while.

Currently I'm on a quantum mechanics kick.

Wow!

From having watched the movie Oppenheimer and then gotten into the biography

the movie is based on and it just sent me down into that world.

And the idea that Einstein didn't buy into quantum mechanics and then now there's some revisionist history

saying he did and just all this stuff and how the theory relatively relativity

and quantum mechanics don't, they can't colon, they can't coexist.

So one of them was right and one of them was wrong, well it's not quite that clear cut

some say, others say it is and it's why Oppenheimer and his crowd who were younger

thought Einstein was an old fool and any who, there is a new thing that came out

yesterday so even if you and you didn't, but even if you did understand quantum mechanics

who's the guy Feynman, he's one of the most famous quantum, he's famous for saying

if you understand quantum mechanics you do not understand quantum mechanics

and he's like one of the fathers of the whole thing saying basically if you understand it
