I have with me a new friend, Yusuf

Emmanuel. And let me tell you, before he starts to talk, first of all, his voice is 100 times

better than mine. His accent makes everything he says worth listening to. But beyond that,

when Yusuf sat down and started to share his story with me, we were just getting to know each other because he was new to Eastside, our church. Then he's sharing a story with me. I had no idea, Yusuf, what to expect. I did not know, well, I should say, I did not know what the Lord would do with your story for me that morning. I was so beyond blessed. And one of the first thing as I thought, not about the podcast, I just thought, man, more people need to hear this story. Now, what the Lord has done in your life, the incredible journey you've been on. And so I am so thrilled to have us with you this morning on the podcast. How are you this morning, Yusuf? to have you here. Listeners, this story, I'm going to try to stay out of the way. Normally, I'm asking a lot of questions. Normally, I'm interjecting my hope today. Guys, you will know it as this story kicks off, why I'm just trying to stay out of the way, because the Lord is going to bless you. You are going to get to the end of the story and go, I need to share this with someone. I need to

follow up on this ministry that Yusuf is involved in. And I need to listen to that story again. Because what the Lord did with the story, I'm hoping he does for you today. I was so thoroughly blessed. I don't know if I told you this. I went home. I told my kids that night, hey, let me tell you this story. I was at the baseball field the next day with other families.

He said, let me tell you the story.

And this is what, it's like the gospel, right? It's like, this is such good news. What a blessing. And it's also appropriate for Father's Day, as so much of your journey has to do with what the story was for your relationship with your father and with your heavenly father.
