Summary

If you’ve ever felt too busy, too tired, or just plain unmotivated to disciple your kids — this one’s for you. Adam, Chelsea, and Cassie swap summer stories and get honest about the difference between being truly exhausted and just lacking enthusiasm. They open 1 Thessalonians 5:14 to talk about when parents need encouragement, when we need help, and when we need a loving push to “keep up the good fight.” You’ll leave reminded that grit, patience, and perseverance aren’t just personality traits — they’re gifts from the Spirit to help you keep going when parenting gets hard.Resources Mentioned: Let this Mother’s Day be a reminder that she deserves care, too. 1:07.4

came to a screeching halt. But then when I think back to like that first week of summer in late May, that does actually feel like a long time ago. You guys had a lot that happened. Yeah. Oh, man. We had a wild summer. Traveled. We went all over. We did some family camps. You did a family camp. Yes, we did a family camp. We loved. We got to meet listeners in the wild at these family camps. Cassie, you interact with the listeners over the summer? Well, I did some, yeah. Great. Some, like, in the city, like, I think I ran into one at a, someone said they recognized my voice, and I thought, oh, no. And then I, like, make sure that I've got, you know, decent clothing on, you know, or whatever.

1:44.6

And you're like, was it from karaoke and calling? Oh, I know. Or I'm making sure I'm not talking on my phone on speakerphone because I learned that that's a pet peeve, a pet schmief. No. No, Schmede Shmove is good. Yeah. Of Chelsea's. I was on an elevator the other day. I was like, wait, no, don't be that person.
