So imagine this.

You're eight years old, living in a quiet trailer house with your family, minding your own business,

when one night out of nowhere, you hear it.

Laughter.

Not just a chuckle here or there, but full-on conversations happening in the next room.

You assume it's your parents having some late-night company over, maybe a few friends

dropped by.

No big deal, right?

But then you get up, wander into the living room, and the whole house is dead, quiet.

Nobody's there.

Not a soul.

Except the rocking chair.

That thing's moving all on its own, like someone was just sitting in it.

And the TV, it's just static, white noise, no channel, no signal.

Creepy? You bet. But hey, maybe it's your imagination. You're just a kid, right? Except it doesn't

stop there.

Whatever this is, whatever or whoever is messing with you, they're just getting started.

And you, you're stuck in the middle of it, trying to figure out what's real, what's not,

and why every time you try to sleep, the quiet becomes terrifying.
