There was tragedy in London as the dredger bow bell collided with the pleasure boat marchioness on the River Thames in central

London. The marchioness sank quickly, leaving 51 people dead. Top films this month were Batman

and Indiana Jones in The Last Crusade

and David Duckenfield, the chief superintendent who took control of the FA Cup
