are cold case detectives with the Olathe Police in Kansas.

In 2001, they pick up the unsolved murder of David Harmon.

This was a crime when you just look at strictly the picture.

It doesn't look to you as being anything even closer resembling a robbery or a home invasion.

I think the detectives were starting to figure that out out that this has got to be a bogus story.

The bogus story begins with a bump in the night.

This was the kind of a loud noise that just wakes you from a deep sleep.

You sit up in the bed, just bolt upright upright and you just look at each other and say,

what was that?

It's 2.30 a.m. and Gail Bergstrand awakens to a series of thumps coming from the other side

of her bedroom wall.

I told my husband, I said, I'm going to call the police. And he said, well, what are you
