Hi, everybody. This is the Untold Story podcast, and I'm Martha McCallum, and it's great to have you with us today.

One of the big issues that we have seen an immense focus on from President Trump, and it's hard to keep them all straight.

There's so many things happening at once, but this is something that we have covered a lot,

and so we want to bring particular attention to it.

And it is that, although we knew that there were trade disputes with Canada and Mexico and obviously China, President Trump kept coming back to the issue of fentanyl and as a central

driver in the border issues on trade and as a central way to crack down on finding a solution

to the hundreds of thousands of deaths by fentanyl that we're experiencing

in our country. So here's President Trump talking about that earlier this week.

They're not going to come through Mexico anymore, and they're not going to let the fentanyl

come in from China. And China hopefully is going to stop sending us fentanyl. And if they're not, the tariffs are going to go

substantially higher. So today I'm joined by someone who has had a personal, very, very personal

impact from all of this. And he has turned it into a positive force for helping to battle this

evil drug in this country.
