Hi, Church family.

My name is Karris Briscoe.

My husband is the high school minister here, Bran and Briscoe.

I have the privilege and the fun of teaching

some of the youngest members of our church and little village,

of doing preschool story time with them once a month.

And I am thrilled to be leading one of

our women's discipleship groups this fall.

We will be reading today from Genesis 1, 26 through 27.

Then God said, let us make man in our image after our likeness

and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea

and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock

and over all the earth and over every creeping thing

that creeps on the earth.

So God created man in his own image.

In the image of God, he created him male and female.

He created them.

This is the word of the Lord.
