1:04.1	Gwyn left school altogether at the age of 15 and began working as a page boy at a hotel
1:09.5	and an engine cleaner for British railways.

1:22.6	He later enlisted in the Border Regiment, but was discharged in March of 1958, when determined to be
1:29.2	quote, unfit under existing standards, and was discharged from the royal ineskeling fuseliers
1:35.3	in February of the following year for the same reason. This is around the time he changed
1:41.4	his name and went back to working for the British Railways before trying once again to enter the armed forces, and again, was discharged after just four
1:51.3	months. Finally giving up on his quest, Gwen began working a number of odd and short-term jobs
