On Friday, the 12th of July here at the BBC we celebrated just one thing day and that's

because we've had overwhelming numbers of listeners getting in touch to tell us how much

our friend and colleague Michael Mosley and his hugely popular

podcast Just One Thing meant to them and how he changed their lives with his

straightforward cheerful approach to improving our health and well being.

Michael's wife, Dr. Claire Bailey Mosley, spoke with Justin Webb on the Today program.

She wanted to say, thank you for all the messages she received from

Michael's fans and listeners. It's been completely overwhelming. People really

loved him. One of the sort of remain things was that people felt they really knew him

and just so incredible that he has made such a difference. You know I'm so proud of what he's done.

I'm still kind of breathtaking taken by the

response from people around the country across the world and it's just extraordinary and you know he was quite a sort of quiet humble man and to have that sort of

response is just extraordinary and I hope we can find some really positive changes going forward.
