So it was when I was with the Illinois rights life the first time before I think it was I

today is the day. Maybe, maybe, I guess my background. I am currently the president of Illinois Right to Life.

So when I met you guys, I was executive director and kind of had a little bit of time in between that I had left to do some other things which maybe will come up but some political stuff but

recently left as executive director full time to be at home full time so I'm

president of the board now it's a volunteer position but I'm president of the board now. It's a volunteer position, but I'm kind of, it's like funny, it's volunteer, but I kind of got a promotion because now I'm the boss of the executive director, which is cool, I guess. I don don't know but um so it's kind of

in like the best of both worlds but my background is politics and pro life

basically I studied journalism in college and I went to a school in Iowa, which like for those of you who might be familiar with the

Iowa Caucus, it's technically the first like primary election for the year.

So a lot of presidential candidates

will sort of congregate there in the summer beforehand

and in the fall.

And they kind of consider it like a test of their stump speeches and their policy stances and things like that.

And so I got a lot of exposure to that and it got me really interested in politics.
