And this week, Marian will be chatting with Sterling Trap King Davis, who is a cat rescuer, a master communicator, a vegan, and an animal rights proponent.

Well, I can see why you got this interview and why you chose him.

Well, without criticizing any interview we've ever done, I think this might be my favorite

interview ever. What a charmer. Total charmer. charmer and you know he's he loves cats like

what's better than that and he's just kind of carved out this life for himself he's invented himself

in a way that is you know unique and passionate and funny and i just love this interview. Yes, that is so cool. And also,

I hate to say it, but you don't come across a whole lot of cat rescuers who are vegan,

or at least not as many as you would want to, which would be all of them. We talk about that.

So last week we chatted a bit about my tattoos and the idea of appropriation or misappropriation.

And I appreciate the comments I received.

One of my favorite tattoos is this one on my arm and I call it my rattoo because it's a tattoo of a rat, my ratto.

And it's so cute.

He's spray painting animal liberation on the subway wall, and he's wearing it.

I love New York shirt.

And I got it when I was living in L.A. and I missed New York so much.

But, you know, rats are so friggin smart, which is one of the reasons why we wanted to talk about this article that was just in the New York Times,

which is called, is there an ethical way to kill rats, should we even ask?
