When at about 10.45pm the 999 call came through, the operator could never have known it was one they would never forget.

The man was 29 year old Stephen Carson from Belfast who was calling from his downstairs toilet. He said: "Hurry up please, there are two people in my house trying to get me. Quick, quick, hurry up." Then there was silence.......
