I'm a new summer Odie.

We spend a lot of time here thinking about how technology, particularly our phones and

apps in the web, how they all affect, how we act, how we live, as human beings.

But we're going to flip the script a little today.

We're going to take a little trip around the world to ask, how does culture, shape,

people's digital habits?

Thanks to NPR, National Public Radio, we're going to talk wine, good food, and phone etiquette

with Paris correspondent Eleanor Beardsley.

We'll talk about how Korea's super fast Wi-Fi supercharges pretty much everything with

correspondent Elise Hugh.

And about how the explosion of Facebook and cell phone use is empowering, but also sometimes

endangering East Africans with Gregory Warner.
