Welcome to the Bullwork Podcast. I'm Charlie Sykes. It is the morning after and I think I just

0:13.2

told AB Stoddard that this will be our first three and a half hour podcast because we have so much

0:19.9

to talk about and quite frankly to wallow in. So first of all, thanks for joining me on the morning

0:26.5

after a truly remarkable and rather unexpected election. Charlie, it's an honor to be invited to

0:32.6

join you. I was prepared for our drunken post-blood bath sub session and I girded myself. I prepared

0:42.1

for days and it's a very strange feeling that we might be able to only, only, only sometimes

0:50.8

have nice things. Well, that's right. I had actually planned certain post-mortems and everything,

0:57.5

but as I tweeted last night right before I fell asleep about one o'clock in the morning, I posted

1:02.3

1:31.5

election. Really disappointed that Tim Ryan lost the Senate race. I knew there were going to be

1:39.0

Ryan DeWine split ticket voters and Ohio, but it's a deeply red state and it was going to be

1:44.3

very hard for him to defy the odds and I'm really disappointed that Elaine Luria lost in Virginia.

1:49.2

Yeah, those are two good ones. I just say that, you know, GDVance going to the United States Senate is

1:55.5

is certainly one of them. Luria going down. The fact that I've said this over and over again,

2:00.3

the fact that Herschel Walker is even remotely close to the United States Senate continues to be a low

2:05.5

light. But highlight, can I go first with my highlight? Yeah, because I kind of I would get

2:10.5

spent the entire podcast talking about this. It looks like Lauren Bobert is going to lose her seat in

2:16.0

Colorado, which nobody saw. Lauren Bobert is going to go down. Now, it is possible because I don't
