Okay, so today I've decided to talk about non-creature artifact tokens. So artifact tokens that aren't creatures.

So I'm going to, there are 17 of them in the history of magic so far.

So I'm going to talk about them and sort of talk about how they came to be.

And talk a little bit about the evolution of the artifact token as a resource in design.

That is my topic today.

So the very first artifact token was a gold token.

So it was an artifact, sacrifices artifact, add one man of any color to your manipole. So I think it first showed up. There's a card called Guild and Born of the Gods. Three in a Black, sorcery, Excel Tiger Creature, put a color's artifact token named gold onto the battlefield.

It has sacrificed this artifact, add one man of any color to your manipole.

So it turned something into gold.

That's the guild something.

I guess cover it with gold.

And then we had King McCar, which was enduring to Nix, the gold cursed.

Two black, black, two three, legendary creature, human, inspired. Whenever Kim McCix, the gold cursed. Two Black, Black, Two, Three, Legend of Creature Human, inspired.

Whenever King Macar, the gold curse, becomes untapped,

you may excel target creature.

If you do, put a cult's artifact token named Gold into the battlefield.

It has sacrificed its artifact, add one man of any color to your manipole.

Gold shows up on curse of opulence in a Commander set.

It shows up in the first I row in games.
