the tensions between PKK Kurdish militants and the KDPPK Kurdish militants and the

KDP ruling Kurdish party in Iraqi Kurdistan and the possibility that both of these

parties might soon be going to war will be talking about how the KDP is allied with

Turkey and how the PKK obviously is fighting against Turkey

I think before we get into this kind of intra Kurdish conflict that might be bubbling up,

let's just lay out for a lot of people that won't know what is the difference between

the KDP that are running, you know, autonomous Iraqi Kurdistan and

PKK militants who are fighting for a very different autonomous Kurdistan? Just explain that for us briefly if you can

all right so um kdip is one of the oldest Kurdish parties

they are mostly concentrated in Iraq. Their worldview is more tribal, they are conservative and also they claim to be nationalist.
