frozen war reignited again in November between Western Sahara separatists of the Polisario Front and the

slash Popular Front. Before we go into the kind of history and why the Polisario Front have been fighting and the situation

with the Morocco and everything, maybe just tell us about the recent developments where Trump has

come out and spoken about Morocco and they've they've acknowledged Israel and like what was that all about what happened there?

Well yeah so announcement was made late last week that Morocco would normalize relations with Israel,

although Morocco already kind of had more advanced relations than some of its neighbors anyway.

But, and it appears to be a quid pro quo that the United States would

recognize Moroccan sovereignty over the disputed territory of Western

Sahara and the Moroccan are sort of denying that it was a quid pro quo, but it's fairly clear.

And there was reporting on this in the months leading up to this for almost a year that

Morocco was kind of shopping around this idea that you know if the US would recognize

its control of Western Sahara it would you know to the normalization thing with Israel

Right and what is the situation with Western South? thing with Israel. Israel. Right.

And what is the situation with Western Sahara and the Polisario Front and all the history there?
