Summary

West Point's graduating class of 1915 produced some of America's greatest military leaders including Eisenhower and Omar Bradley. Author and historian Michael Haskew calls it "the class the stars fell on". In today's podcast I talk to Michael about his book West Point 1915 and the men who made up this class and what made them so special.

0:18.8	So West Point, the U.S. military academy has produced several great men, distinguished men
0:24.7	who had a profound impact on American history.
0:26.6	But there was one class in particular that produced several great leaders that had a profound
0:32.7	impact on American success during World War II, as well as shaping America in the post-war
0:38.2	years.
0:39.4	That was the class of 1915.
0:42.6	So of the 164 graduates that year, 59 attained the rate of general and the two most famous
0:48.4	were Dwight Eisenhower and Omar Bradley, who both became five star generals.
0:53.7	So today on the podcast, we have Michael Haskew, who wrote a book called West Point,
