Summary

"On November 15th, 1999, I walked out of prison with a GED and a goal. I realized being 15 was tough, no matter where you came from. So my philosophy became: if you call me, I'll show up. Let me show you how to heal yourself internally and deal with your trauma so you can have a great life. And I’ve been showing up for 22 years.” - Andre Norman In this episode of The Game Changing Attorney Podcast, Andre Norman walks Michael Mogill through the roots of his past trauma and how it led him down a violent path, which eventually got Andre sentenced to over 100 years in prison. While serving time, an epiphany brought him out from behind bars and into Harvard University. He is now known as the "The Ambassador Of Hope" and is helping thousands heal worldwide. And in that space, wanting to be the ultimate winner, the toughest, most feared guy on the planet is a gang leader who runs the entire prison system, the ultimate shot caller. That's the number one guy. In politics, it's the president. It's not the governor. The number one politician is the president. The number one person in the penitentiary is a shot caller. The shock caller, not a shot caller. And I was like, I want to be the shot caller. And that was the goal.

Boom, I'm about to become the king of nowhere. And I don't want to be the king of nowhere. I backed up, I went to myself. I said, well, if I can't be a psychopath, what's the point of being in prison? It didn't make sense. Prison always made sense to me. That's why I was 100% all in, because I could rationalize it in my brain that this makes sense.
