Jim Jordan is now chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. And we know we're in for two years

of getting sicker and sicker of Jim Jordan. This past week, Jordan announced a special

subcommittee to investigate the weaponization of the federal government against the right.

We're going to get to see the deep state. Finally, I've been waiting to see the deep state,

haven't you? And learn how exactly the deep state, haven't you?

And learn how exactly the deep state works. Because when I was in the Senate, I was on the Judiciary Committee and dealt, you know, with our intelligence agencies.

Mainly when I was there, they were focused on trying to prevent a terrorist attack from al-Qaeda and ISIS, and in doing so,

swept up a lot of metadata on the phone calls of a lot of Americans, which, as you'll recall,

was a big deal when Snowden revealed that they had been doing that.

So I got kind of deep into this and talked to my colleagues

on the Intelligence Committee. And maybe I was just naive or stupid or blind, but the

intelligence agencies were not spending a lot of time and resources focusing on the right.

Of course, more recently, they started to, and for good

reason. Three years ago, this is obviously before January 6th, FBI director Christopher

Ray testified to the Judiciary Committee that the militant right was a much bigger and far more organized and far more dangerous threat

than, say, Antifa, which Ray said was not organized.

And yet, obviously, the FBI wasn't focused enough on the far right because somehow they missed January 6th, which Jim Jordan
