Thank you so much for joining me today.

I thought today I would talk to you about everyday temptations.

The kind we think are really no threat at all,

but they tend to trip us up because we're not paying attention.

So I have a few verses to gather up.

We all know that in the Lord's Prayer,

we pray lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

We are such weak creatures.

We cannot defend ourselves.

We need God's help both in not leading us into temptation,

but then in the act of resisting it,

we need His strength and help.

But sometimes I think we lead our own selves into temptation

by making foolish or hasty decisions.

And I'll give you some examples in a minute.

Jesus told us disciples to watch and pray

less they fall into temptation.
