0:49.9 | So I want to talk to you guys today before we dive into this episode's topic, which is all about what you really think about drinking. |
1:00.3 | And let me tell you, this is a really important thing for you to understand. |
1:03.7 | But before we dive into that, I want to tell you about a new program that I am launching in 2019. |
1:12.5 | It's a program called in pursuit and it is an intensive year long coaching program for clients. |
1:21.3 | I will tell you, it has been my dream to work on this deeper, more intense level because taking a break from drinking is one thing. |
1:33.3 | Changing the habit, changing your desire, that is a huge first step, but it's just the first step. |
1:42.1 | Because once you are no longer cleaning up from the night before, once you are no longer at a place where you're constantly looking backwards and constantly regretting what you did or what you said or wondering if you're ever going to figure this out, |
1:55.7 | you can really start looking forward. You can start going in pursuit of the life that you want. |
2:04.7 | And I have to tell you that when this was me, I was really unsure of how to do that. |
2:12.5 | I knew that I wanted to desire more out of life than a drink at the end of the day or looking forward to Friday so that I could go to the bar with my friends. |
2:25.9 | But I didn't know how and I know that sounds kind of weird to say, but I had taught my brain to be so focused on desiring immediate gratification that I didn't know how to desire what I really wanted. |
2:41.1 | And I didn't certainly didn't know how to go after those things. |
2:44.1 | So I didn't know how to get the career that would fulfill me or a relationship that was a true partnership and not me just saying yes all the time and people pleasing. |
2:55.3 | I didn't know how to start having a body that I loved and that I always loved regardless of the number on the scale. |
3:04.3 | I didn't know how to have fantastic sex. I didn't know how to be a woman who wasn't afraid to put herself out there and take risks and make mistakes and dream big. |
