And today we're talking about protein again.

But this time we're talking about protein from two different perspectives,

focusing more on the quality of the protein

and what it might mean when it's not the highest quality.

And how do we define quality?

So here's some of the details, right?

There's, we know that protein is so important from a health standpoint that we need a certain

amount of protein. Now, falling back on the RDA of protein of 0.8 grams per kilogram is entirely

insufficient from my standpoint because that's, that's to prevent a protein deficiency.

When we're talking about optimal protein to maximize muscle mass and to improve lean mass

while losing fat mass, so healthy weight loss, for improving metabolic health, for

improving satiety.

Because higher protein diets have greater satiety.

So you tend to eat less and fewer calories

without even thinking about it, which is a complete win from a protein standpoint.

These are the things that I think about when you talk about importance of protein.
