So he analyzed 200 different commercial intent queries and scraped the top 10 results for each one

Then he analyzed how many unique referring domains each one had. He found that

96% of websites had at least 1,000 unique backlinks, okay? 62% of sites in the top 10 had at least 10,000 backlinks.

That's a lot.

And the sites in the study had an average of 42,000 referring domains.

This is H-R-F's data, and the weakest site in the top 10 only had 54 unique back links.

That's kind of crazy to think about, but yeah, I've always been a big believer in links.

They could say it's not important ranking factor and they say it's not a top three ranking factor,

but they don't say it's not a top five ranking factor or top ten ranking factor and based on the

leak document how many factors were there like a thousand four hundred or fourteen
