Lopez, and I have with me Donata, and I'm going to attempt the last name Donata.

So welcome to the show, Donata.

Thank you so much for having me.

Donata is an attorney.

She's also a business owner.

She attended the John Marshall Law School in his

license to practice law in Illinois. While she was in law school, Donata was part also of the

business enterprise law clinic, which was a great experience. She helped disadvantaged and

minority entrepreneurs establish and grow their small businesses. Prior to starting her own

firm, she served as chief operating officer and in-house counsel for a software development,

research, and prototyping firm in Chicago, which is where she lives now. Donata is originally

from Lithuania, but resides in Chicago. So in this episode,

Donata is going to share a bit of her entrepreneurial experience and just some general legal

guidance on a couple of topics, especially in the area of legal protection, employment law,

contracts, and so forth. So the focus of this show will be some legal guidance

and advice for small business owners
