if I wanted to stay obsessed with someone who left me, I would make it about winning.

I would fantasize about the day that he realizes what he lost.

Right.

I would obsess over closure because it would prove something to me.

I would obsess over him regretting it. Sometimes it's not about being attached even to the person.

It's about restoring our pride. Like on some level, this is a mystery that you

want to solve because you're like, he picked this fight and it was about something little,

and then he left. Your brain wants to solve that mystery. You get to have closure on this

situation the second that you choose to, not the second that he gives you closure.
