Hello, this is Paul McKenna, and welcome to the positivity podcast.

My objective is to interview the most interesting people in the world,

My guest today is a Michelin two-star chef at the London restaurant La Gavroche.

He's a judge and presenter on the BBC popular primetime show Master Chef.

His new series is French country cooking.

I'm talking today with Michel Rood Jr. I think respect for your elders, respect for everyone,

and understanding that, you know, you have to work in life. Nothing is for free. I think there are far

too many chefs that cook for their own egos. And by that, I mean, you look at a

plate of food and you go, what the hell is it? It should be up on the wall. It looks beautiful.

Good food definitely makes me happy. And in fact, I would say that the experience is, the moment

in time, is as important as the pledged food.
