Armenia and Azerbaijan. Less than a week ago, Azerbaijan launched an assault on the contested region of Nagorno-Karabakh, also known as Artsk.

It's a region that has been fought over for decades now.

This conflict has been going on now for what nearly a week.

I was wondering if you can just kind of take us back to you know how this started

Obviously Azerbaijan launched the offensive at about 8 in the morning.

Maybe you can just explain that for us, what happened?

We have to go, I guess, maybe a couple of days back,

when we started seeing the Azary ratchet up rhetoric on Armenia being engaged in subversive

activities positioning troops for a war of aggression and so on and so forth. So basically

Aliya was preparing the ground for an assault and this has been sort of a pattern from his administration wherever he has

accused whenever he has accused their media of preparing to do something a couple of days later it usually the opposite has happened and

Azerbaijan has attacked or shelled or any number of similar stuff.

So a couple of days on September,
