It's the last day of a murder trial in Chicago and defence attorney, George Remus is getting ready to make his closing argument.

George is a local celebrity known for his cutthroat tactics and his flair for the dramatic.

George isn't afraid to take on clients that others may deem hopeless cases.

He's a fierce opponent of the death penalty and he'll stop at nothing to secure a win.

Today, George is defending a man accused of murdering his wife.

Over the course of the trial, the prosecution has put forward an ironclad case.

The pinnacle of their argument came when they presented a very important piece of evidence,

an empty bottle found in the defendant's possession shortly after his wife's death.

The bottle once contained a substance that if swallowed could prove lethal.

The prosecution is arguing that the defendant used this substance to poison his wife.

But George isn't worried.

He stands up from his desk and walks towards the jury.
