Summary

Mike Parry and Lesley-Ann Jones return for another exciting look at Life on Planet Porky. Today they debate: when (or if) life will return to normal, calling your child Wilfred, Harry and Meghan's latest venture, the promiscuous Princess Margaret, Mary Hopkin, Amanda Holden's new release, charity singles, recording home movies, heart transplants, Sex and the City, Neil Diamond's career and The Monkees. And don't worry, there's a cracking Fleet Street tale involving Koo Stark thrown in as well!

Don't forget to subscribe so you never miss an episode, with new ones dropping every Tuesday and Friday.

Okay, folks, you are listening to another super edition.

0:25.1

I say that because I'm so proud of it, of Planet Porky, the podcast.

0:30.3

And, of course, it wouldn't be the same without the wonderful rocket chick extraordinaire, Leslie Ann Jones, who's with me now.

0:36.5

We're self-isolating again, Leslie Ann.

0:38.6

We're in our independent studios, obeying all the rules,

0:41.6

and still managing to knock out.

0:43.6

What I hope you'll agree with me is a fun old chat.

0:48.5

We're doing okay, aren't we?

0:49.7

I'm quite enjoying this.

0:51.1

Will we ever go back to a studio?

0:53.2

That's the question.

0:54.2

It's a very good question.

0:55.3

I don't know because due to your industrious work on acquiring the right technology

1:02.2

and upgrading the stuff we've got, I'm told by the experts who obviously get hold of this

1:07.0

recording after we've finished and then they tech op it and they edit it and they bookend it

1:11.4

put it together they say that the audio quality is great i don't think it can ever be as good as a

1:16.5

studio but i'm told it's about 95 96 percent there and it'll be a long time before anybody

1:21.5

gets me in a studio because of the you know the fear of traveling there and the fact that studios attract

1:28.5

germs. So for the moment, I'm very happy in my one-man studio here at Paul Kittows.

1:33.8

Yeah, indeed. Although, you know, we miss the camaraderie, don't we? We miss the banter. It's

1:39.1

much easier to do this face-to-face in the same studio, but we're doing our best. And, you know, we have to bear

1:46.4

in mind that everybody listening is by themselves somewhere, knuckle down, hold down. And, you know,
