0:35.4	So as business owners, as entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs, there are always so many things coming out.
0:40.2	You all day long, every single day, pinging and beeping and dinging and poking and prodding and saying,
0:45.5	look at me, I'm the most important thing.
0:47.1	I am the solution to your problems.
0:48.6	I'm going to be your savior.
0:49.4	I'm going to be your thing that makes all your dreams come true, right?
0:51.7	And that is true whether the economy is booming and expanding or whether it is contracting and going backwards.
0:57.5	We all know at this point that we are in an economic downturn.
1:00.0	And this is probably going to continue for quite some time in the future.
1:02.4	I've told all of my students and I'll continue to reiterate that it is very important that you plan and expect
1:06.9	that we will be operating in a contracting market for at least another year and a half minimum, potentially longer.
1:10.9	But my expectation is that we will be operating in a downturn probably through all of 2024 and into 2025.
1:16.1	And I think it's really important to openly acknowledge that because when you openly acknowledge something,
1:20.3	you can reset your energy and refocus your mentality not around just making short-term changes that are band-eats,
1:24.9	but instead really understanding, okay, how do I win at this game with this new set of rules?
