But there is a way to control at least PART of your day, and it's an idea called AM and PM Bookends that I picked up from Darren Hardy in his book The Compound Effect. I'll explain the idea and how you can apply it in this episode.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes our daily schedule, we start with the best of intentions. I'm going to do this type of thing to improve myself. I'm going to exercise. I'm going to get up in the morning early. I'm going to get this type of thing done at work that's really important. But then the reality sets in and at the end of the day, we look back and say, you know, really, I didn't get any of those things done or very few, and other people and other events controlled my entire day.
